Will it fit in the trunk? PT Cruiser question MyLittleOnes 2 kids; WI, WI, United States 859 posts

So we are going to be car shopping in a few months and I really want a PT Cruiser. Will the duo glider fit in the trunk? I've only seen pictures of these cars and it looks a bit small. What kind of cars do you have? I have a grand Cherokee and I'm just over the SUV thing. I'm ready to save on gas :)

I thought the PT Cruisers had a hatchback type trunk? If so, it would definitely fit.

Maybe it's me, but the pictures look very narrow. I guess I can go look. I just need something practical, with enough space to hold a double stroller and groceries.

They don't have much trunk space. It's narrow, but tall. Our neighbors teenage girl drives one and she has a hard time fitting much of anything in the trunk space.

They are also considered a compact car, they're on the tall side..but their short in length.

You may want to look more into a crossover or a full size/mid size sedan.

You'll have issues with any of those smaller cars...PT Cruiser, HHR, Caliber, etc. I'd go with a bigger sedan OR a small SUV. I love my Highlander and could never go back to a car...even though my car was a boat (Intrepid).

I'm probably going to look at SUVs. Thank you everyone. (just realized I put this in the wrong forum. Oops)

If you want something smaller but still have the trunk space you need, look into stuff like Hyundai Tuscon, Dodge Journey, Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder, Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia things that size. They all get great gas mileage and you can get a 3rd row seat in the Journey, Explorer, Traverse, and Acadia.

I have absolutely no idea about car sizes, but could you take your stroller along with you when looking at cars to see if it fits in? I mean, you wouldn't even have to buy the car from where you looked at it, you could just test them and then you'd know which models it fits in.
