I'm bored and in a feisty mood. This means my advice giving skills are on point right now.

So...have a question? Want an opinion? Need advice on a random situation? Ask.

As many know, I'm not good with fluff or filler words. You are not required to like my answer.

Did I do a half way decent job editing even though I couldn't get my kiddo to smile for one picture? :)

I think it's a cute picture, but I think it would look a lot less cheap without the editing. Soemtimes less is more.

Not too worried about that, but he could have bit that in a second.

Ah well, anything for a cute photo, huh?

Have you ever been electrocuted by a string of lights? I'm sure the baby was more than safe with the lights while she took the picture.

This. They treat light wire with lead to make it flame retardant.

I've had cats bite through them and not get electrocuted. If you're having a bad day, by all means, have one, but trying to make someone feel like a bad mom for taking a picture with Christmas lights is obnoxious. In your case, no one should have Christmas lights anywhere near a child, because if they have teeth, they will bite through them and get electrocuted. As a matter of fact, fuck anything that plugs in.

Have I? No. I generally don't let babies play with things that have been plugged into a wall. That are also made from material that I would never put into my mouth so I wouldn't want to risk my child putting into s/he mouth.

JMO.

You're the only one who can be "feisty"? I'm not making her feel like a bad mom. I just said that it's not a safe photo prop and well... it's not.

And again, I don't let my child play with anything that plugs in when they are that young.
