I have the same problem. I have tried every eye drop out there, and this one really helps me: http://www.soap.com/p/visine-l-r-redness-reliever-...
I put them in before I put in my contacts, and sometimes after too, and it helps my eyes from feeling dry. I find the drops made for contacts really don't really help me.

I just use normal eyedrops every now and then when I have them in. I find I usually only need them for windy days (sunglasses help, I like the big wraparound ones people call "stunna shades" lol) or when I wear them a really long time.

That might be a bigger problem...either your eyes just have to readjust to contacts or maybe you need a different brand. I tried a different brand than my usual Acuvue's at first this go-round and they were AWFUL. They felt stiff and my eyes felt constantly dry and itchy. Just...fking awful. Went back to my Acuvues...total night and day difference. Maybe call your eye doctor and ask? Or just live on eyedrops...which I imagine would suck :(

everytime i have ever gotten contacts they have been acuvue & i NEVER got dry eyes until now. The ones i have now are Sofmed which i have never even heard of so i think im going to call & get acuvues again, which sucks because i just spent 60$ on these.
