Spotting mgmillionaria Due April 17 (boy); Japan 29 posts

I am 23 weeks pregnant today and this is the third time I have some light pink spotting. I went to the hospital last two times and they said there was not blood and my cervix was closed. They made it seem as if there was never any blood and I know there was even if it was just a little. So this morning same thing, this time I am going to wait unless it gets worse, he is moving around and kicking and that makes me more comfortable. Each time it only happens for a little while and I guess by the time I go to the hospital it's done and over with. Anyone else experiencing this or something similar? Should I go to hospital or wait it out. I would hate to go again and they look at me as if I am over reacting.

Some spotting throughout pregnancy isn't at all uncommon. You should just take it easy, wait it out and make sure it stops or doesn't get worse.

I hate when dr.s make you feel like they think you are lying or something. I've been spotting since week 18 and they've never even checked me for it. :/ they just told me that mild spotting is normal and to come in if it doesn't stop or if I'm also cramping. Usually mine is just a little when I wipe once, then a few days to a week later I'll have a little more. I'm 26 weeks today and so far everything has been fine.

Yeah that's exactly what is going on with me, ok so I feel loads better knowing I am not the only one. They never told me it was normal they would just check me and say there is no blood at all and everything is fine but I know what I saw prior to them checking me. So thank you for sharing.

Has your doctor told you if you have a low lying placenta? I had one for a little bit but as the baby grew it moved up. It would cause some spotting occasionally.

No he hasn't told me anything about my placenta and I have actually had 3 ultrasounds at the perinatal office and two at obstetrician's office. They say all looks normal.
