My son is 3 months old tomorrow, when did you start your babies on rice cereal ladies? I can't remember from my girls and my pedi never really said. Thank you in advance.

I don't plan to ever if I can avoid it. Too many useless carbs.

NEVER mama! never! its completely unnecessary to feed babies cereal! please please please do some research into this if you ever deceide to do so !

Go straight to the nutritional stuff. Broccoli and carrots were my son's first foods other than breastmilk and formula.

Never. It's empty calories with no nutrition and fills them up. So they aren't getting the milk they need to fill in their nutrients.

WIC offers cereals at 6 months, but honestly research shows that their bodies cant digest those sorts of things until after a year.
I started adding in veggies after 6 months because my daughter's appetite was crazy and breastfeeding alone didn't seem to be enough.
If you can avoid cereals altogether I would :)
