I actually have two questions but i didnt want to make 2 posts back to back.

first- how well do the preggy/queasy drops work? Are they worth ordering some?

second- when in your opinion is waaaaay too early to have a baby shower? Like, how far away from your due date was yours? I was wanting to have mine in april (not due til august) but i only wanted it that early cause i wanted to invite a friend of mine whose moving later that month to japan. I talked to my mom about it (shes hosting it) and she thought it was kinda strange to have it so far away from my due date.

I had mine a month before my due date. I actually gave birth exactly a month after my baby shower. lol. While it IS a little weird having a baby shower so early, I think your reason to have it early makes sense. You want certain people to be there, who won't should you wait any later. So makes sense.

I can't comment on the first question but having a baby shower that early does seem really too early.. I guess I understand your reasoning but if your mom is the one hosting it than it is really her decision and not yours.

I think that the preggy pops worked well. I used them and they really did help. I would recommend them for sure.

As for the baby shower, I agree that the reason to have it so early is a good one. I actually had mine early as well. I had mine in the beginning of November and am not due until February. Having mine early was because of a similar reason to yours. I had friends and family that I wanted to come, but they lived over the mountain and it would be hard for them to be able to make it any farther into the winter here. I think that it was kinda nice because it gave us time to get anything that we still needed, without a time crunch.

I personally think April is a little soon. I was due August 7th and had my shower June 22nd. It's up to you though !

Which flavor did you like the best or were they all pretty good? I was looking on google and saw ginger flavored and i didn't think that sounded very appealing. Lol.

That's what im kinda worried about. I dont wanna have to run around like a crazy person to get everything else or whenever im in the hospital my husband leaves cause we still dont have a crib. Lol i dont know.

The preggy pops help. It just depends on the person I guess. I only used them in my first pregnancy because we couldn't afford to keep buying them with my other pregnancies and they worked pretty well for me. But my morning sickness was also not as bad as it was with my girls so I have no idea how they would have compared to hardcore sickness. I got the variety pack that had different flavors. However I just have to say that ginger is NOT going to sound appealing to you but it should help your queasiness. I hate ginger spice but it does wonders for my morning sickness.

As for the baby shower, only you can decide when is the right time to have it. I understand your reasoning and while it does seem a little early for an August due date, it's completely up to you. I always had mine around 7 months pregnant though.

They were all pretty good. I am just glad they helped honestly. =)

Haha exactly. If it works out best for you then do it. It maybe early technically, but if you really want certain people there and that's the only time they can make it, I would do it for sure!
