It's driving me insane! Makes me feel like I have to go out in public in a bubble! Or not breathe and that's not a option lol. I went and got a flu shot due to me going to be delivering in a hospital that's full of flu infected people as of the moment,(yay for a projected unusually long flu season....not) and then I have those select few people within the family who doesn't care if they are sick or not .they show up around me with the coughing and hacking and fevers which drives me nuts and pisses my DH off because I'm forced to leave what I was doing to go home. I've already had sinus infections and barley survived that, can just imagine getting the flu from stupid people. Makes me miss living out in the middle of no where on land so people don't breathe on you.

Ugh! I'm scared to death of catching the flu through DD, because she's in public school. We wash hands and use hand sanitizer 17374858391 times a day. I'm already just about miserable at almost 30 weeks pregnant with body aches. I can't imagine getting the flu right now, or taking care of two kids while having it either and I really don't want baby getting it when he/she gets here. It didn't stress me out until DD went to school but I swear she has brought home soooooo much in the last couple years from there. :/

Community mitigation and good hand washing.
It's always the same

Washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water, a healthy immune system, daily vitamins and exercise are your best defenses against not getting sick.

Understand the body aches! I have bad hips to begin with and pregnancy makes it hurt all over. Last thing I would need its a illness that adds to it. Supposedly at a hospital in my state 11 out of 150 ppl died so far not including the counties surrounding where I live. And some family members are nurses and have the flu right now. Makes me uneasy about sending kids to school in the future, but I survived it including getting Mono at 15 was the worst illness I have ever gotten, of course I didn't get it as a child when it's not as bad lol I had to deal with the feeling like I'm going to die when older.

I think I've become an obsessive freak over trying not to get sick lol. It's not me I got to worry about, more of some inconsiderate people that come around for family functions deathly ill. They already passed what ever they had last off to my parents.

Ugh.... Hope you feel better soon. I'm trying to avoid it at all costs.... I'm a big whimp when I can't take any medications to ease symptoms.
