Noone knows where the placenta is except the tech. Ultrasounds can be backwards and from am angle so you can't tell from pictures

No offense to you what so ever, but i think that is the worst ultrasound pictures i've seen, i can't even make out what the heck is what lol I would ask for a different tech for the anatomy scan :P

lol I know :/ My OB did them himself. The first one was just with a vaginal wand and he had to press to even see that much. The second was just a quick one to verify baby is in there and doing well because I was 10 1/2 weeks and the HB couldn't be picked up on doppler.

There's no gender signs in either picture. Do you have any from 12wks or more?

sounds like they may have a crappy machine, I hope you get  better pictures when you find out the gender! :)

5+3? Gender is impossible to tell at this stage! I am almost 14 weeks and it is still not noticeable. Not sure of the method you are talking about though. I'd wait 10 weeks 38

She was hoping for someone to use the ramzi theory which can guess the gender that early.

I know 38 that is what I meant by "Not sure of the method you are talking about though" ... by method I meant theory.

I still think those theories are not 100% and that OP should just wait for the most reliable method: u/s but I understand her jitters! I am dying to know the sex.

No method is EVER 100% even a later scan, they can all be wrong, so really the most effect way to know is just wait till baby is born. HOWEVER the Ramzi method has been 97% accurate when done correctly, however you have to have the tech tell you which side your placenta is on via the scan.
