I have heard several things. Healthy baby, signs of a girl, etc. I don't know if any of it is true. I do know one thing though. Those people are doing what they can to make us feel better about it though :)

Good luck Mama. I hope your MS ends soon. I have my hubby on search for sour candy as we speak after reading the last posts about MS.

Well I guess I'm hoping it doesn't mean "healthy baby" because I'm almost 8 weeks and haven't had morning sickness yet. Lol. Of course, It may just happen later for me; I know it varies for different people and happens at different stages of pregnancy. I'm actually hoping I'm one of the few that DON'T get MS. Lol.

i can tell you from having 2 kids already that morning sickness does not indicate gender, i have a son and a daughter and had morning sickness with both, i was very unlucky and had morning sickness for my entire pregnancy, it is just starting to kick in this time around and another unlucky to me being diabetic means no relief through sour candies or preggie pops either, however mints have helped me soo far, just another idea and cinnamon hearts helped with previous pregnancies... i have also had 3 miscarriages and morning sickness with all 3 of them as well

I think people say a lot of things to explain why you do or don't have certain symptoms. lol.
I had no morning sickness at all with my first (boy) and nothing so far with this one (a tiny bit of nausea but no throwing up (yet)) and my first was/is perfectly healthy and this one so far is healthy Super Happy

Well they say morning sickness is a good sign of healthy progression of the pregnancy.

But I know people who've had the worse morning sickness and ended up in miscarriage, so you never know until you see the baby's heartbeat and are pass the first trimester (considering 80% of miscarriages happen during that time).

I say it's true! I am 23 wks and still have morning sickness everyday. Puke up almost everything I eat and every time I have visited the doctor, the heartbeat sounds strong and my doctor says everything is going great! I'm sure you are going to be just fine! I wouldn't worry much! You do not want to stress yourself, stress is the worst thing for your baby!
