Questions! New cat Sabrinanicole22 Due May 5 (boy); United States 6 posts

So my little brother found a newborn kitten on the side of the road and we took it in because it's so cold and snowy outside but I've only held it twice since we've got it which was a couple hours ago, I have some concerns about whether I can catch ring worms or something bad from the cat that's not good for me nor the baby! Any suggestions about what I should look for or what I should do? By the way I am 25 weeks pregnant.(:

Give it a good bath and stay away from its urine and feces and you should be fine.

Is it actually a newborn? Like is it too young to be away from the mother?
Ringworm in animals is usually pretty easy to spot by bald patches the skin. It can also appear cracked and might be scabby. Other than that,  just stay away from pee and poop, and giving him a bath won't hurt either.
