I know warm weather is still a way away. but when its nice out we spend a lot of time outdoors. Im normally a cold person so I love sitting in the sun. Plus it helps give my face some color. Is this safe during pregnancy? Why do I not know this answer? I plan on asking my doctor her opinion at my next appt. Just wanted to ask here in the meantime.

I just wasn't sure since you aren't supposed to tan. I can be in the sun for hours. Wasn't sure about that.

I just wouldnt layout in a bikini, or get burnt. Pregnancy can be uncomfortable enough without sunburn.

Not that I can remember. We just recently...within the last couple years started taking them to the park or fishing or bike riding.

I have heard you are supposed to keep your midsection covered and wear sunscreen because it's easier to burn when you're pregnant. I wouldn't worry too much about it, though. You're baby has plenty of protection from the weather. Go have fun!! :)
