Anyone ever used it to track ovulation? I'm a science nerd/teacher so I have a microscope and decided to give it a try. Looks like I'm pretty close to ovulating. 69e0cbd0bb27839f61d132a45c2ba79d.jpg
The picture below is mine.

Looks partial to me!

I've heard of this, but never tried it myself, but it looks transitional.

This is my first time. I pulled out my microscope and thought I'd give it a try. The picture there says transitional. On my FF app it calls it partial. But I was super impressed. I want to show everyone because I think it's so cool! That's in my spit! Crazy! Haha

That's pretty cool (science nerd also). I agree, transitional but leaning closer to fertile.

lol it is definitely interesting! My period is like clockwork with ovulation on CD17. I should have tried it a few times to see how accurate it is. Any statistics, is it accurate?

Ha. Apparently not that accurate. Still fun to do.

I had also read that you should take the saliva sample right when you get up before eating or drinking or brushing teeth. I did not do this. I actually drank just before doing this test. Although I am on cd 11 and I typically O on cd14. I'll try tomorrow morning.

LOL, well there goes that. Are you TTC? Do you use OPK's, or BBT, too?

I am TTC and I do use OPK's. BBT doesn't work for me. I don't sleep that great so my temps are all over the place. But I just thought OPK's plus the fern test could give me a good idea. It's also just another thing to occupy my time and mind during this TTC thing. Haha

Yeah they seem to work. I got pregnant my first time using them. Ended up having an early MC though. Last month was my first cycle after the MC and it was way out of whack. This month I seem to be back on track. Both my am tests and pm tests are getting darker. So that's good. Hopefully ovulation will happen soon!
