Urethra. Weird, right? Two urine tests and both were negative for infection. He asked me like 4 times if I have been exposed to any new STI's...I was like NO each time. I'm married so, obviously I have had no new partners (hell, even my DH isn't really a "partner" right now as I have zero sex drive lol)

Anyway, what else can I do? It hurts SO bad to pee and afterwards it just burns for like 10 minutes. He also did a pelvic and looked at my CM and everything looks fine- No BV either.

Any medical suggestions?? I have already had three appt's and nothing. Should I go back to the Gyno again or just make an appt with my family dr?

Why are you so reluctant to get an STD test?

If they want to run an STD check, why not? At least eliminate that. I know you said your married and if you are confident no one has cheated than it should come back clean.  You don't have to make a big deal, just tell the dr. You do want to do an STD panel and when it comes back clear you can say You've been tested for X, Y, Z these are your symptoms and want to know what else it could be.

They did one in February 2014 when I became pregnant. I haven't been with anyone else in 4 years and either has my hubby...Why do ANOTHER one when I literally had one 2 months ago?

Because A.) Things could have secretly happened between then and now and B.) Some STD's can lie dormant.

No, people ARE helping BUT you're in denial about possibilities.

I am not in denial that my husband is having an affair. I will be more than happy to get a test when I go back in a week but I would also like to know what ELSE it could be.

Until you get completely checked out than the dr probably won't have any other suggestions. Elimination of the most common causes and then branch off and test for lesser common things. Why so opposed to the test? Even though I know I'm faithful and I have faith my DH is faithful, I still take charge of my sexual health and get screened at my annual.

I was JUST screened the end of Feb. I have NO prob with getting screned. I get it every 6 months at my pap smear's. I just wanted to know what else (besides an STI) it could be? A read on a lot of sites that Dr's office UTI tests can show negative because it's only a dip test and pregnant women's urine is more diluted and then they send it out to get a culture and it comes back positive...if I do have a UTI I'd like to know for the health of me and my babe.

Have they done an ultrasound of your urethra? My first pregnancy I had those same symptoms and their was a kidney stone making its way through, very painful.

That was my fear. No, they haven't but I am going to make a call tomorrow to be seen again. I did pee some blood today. So I am wondering if that is what it is. Can they be dangerous in pregnancy and who would diagnose this?

ALso, I assume this would show up positive for UTI or no?

For me it put me in preterm labor, so I was hospitalized, and put on pain meds until they passed. The pain is what put me into labor, I felt guilty taking viccodin but my baby would not have survived, I was only 22 weeks at the time. Afterwards I was discharged and put in bed rest, it was a long 17 weeks but well worth it.
