By traditional ultrasound? As early as 15 weeks, but it's not reliable until about 17+

I was 15 weeks and 5 days with my daughter. But I paid for it out of pocket. Drs usually do anatomy scans anywhere from 18-22ish weeks.

Same happened to a friend of mine. They were completely sure she was having a girl, they planned on it, etc. That was at 15 weeks. At her 20 week scan, there was a p***s LOL.

The earliest I have ever found out was 17 weeks and that was with my oldest DD. Latest was 36 weeks with my first (DS) because he kept hiding everything. 20 weeks, the tech said "I think I see scrotum, but I can't be sure...so I really can't say".

Normally I'm one for early scans & some places can tell you as early as 14 weeks but after my scan experience this pregnancy I recommend waiting until 20 weeks when it's more reliable. But I will add I found out with my first daughter at almost 21 weeks, my second daughter at about 16 weeks, & this time I had a scan done around 17 weeks was told girl well I questioned it so they brought me in almost 2 weeks later & turned out we are having a boy. Had it confirmed he was for sure a boy at my level 2 scan at a little over 20 weeks.

I found out with my first at 32 weeks. Because she hid her girl parts at my anatomy scan.

this time I went to an elective place and had a scan done at 16 weeks 5 days. I was told girl. I will be getting that confirmed at 20 weeks at the anatomy scan as long as baby cooperates.

i was told anatomy scans are usually done around 18-20 weeks. But you can pay for an elective at a third party place earlier. Although I don't really think either is 100% and I'm kind of skeptical till birth. I checked my oldest like 3 times after I had her to make sure she hadn't grown a p***s lol.
