Im suppost to be 20 weeks today and due oct. 24th but according to ultrasound and measuring im 2 weeks ahead, is this normal? my dr doesnt want to change my due date.
Yeah the further along you get the more variable growth is between babies so it's more accurate to stick with the dating u/s.
Yes it is normal for babies to measure ahead later in the pregnancy, but usually if it is a difference of two weeks, they change it.
Ultrasounds can be off. They use them around 12 weeks to confirm dating and sometime after that its no longer as accurate.
It's normal. I have been measuring 4 weeks ahead consistently and the past 2 times have leveled off to measuring 2 weeks ahead. Measurements can be off. Nothing to worry about.
It's normal for the measurements to be off by a week or two in either direction.
