It seems like many family members on both sides feel like Penelope is weird and that it doesnt go with Sophia.

I wanted to run it by you ladies again. Does Sophia Penelope work? I think it flows nicely with our last name too but now everyone has me second guessing. I really love both names. Very Sad

I like both names just not really together. IMO I think Penelope works better as a first name.

I think it's fine. I don't get this whole names having to go with each other thing lol.

I think it flows depending on the last name and since you already said it sounds good with your last name I'm sure it does:)  Don't second guess yourself!

I dont see it going together to be honest just doesnt roll off the tongue to me. Penelope Sophia sounds a little better.

Oh I am an idiot haha. Fack I read that thinking you had another daughter named Sophia! lol. Ignore my last comment. Dumb dumb over her. I think Penelope Sophia sounds nice though actually.

DH is stuck on Sophia and many on both sides of our family aren't fans of Penelope. I feel like I'm the only one that likes it and that DH is just tolerating the Penelope part just to avoid looking at more baby names. LOL

That is exactly why we aren't telling our family members our babys names until theyre on the birth certificate. I hope it all gets sorted out! :)

It's a mouthful but how often do you use your middle name?

True. Since Sophia is so popular, I was looking for a name that wasn't that common so DD could use it if there were too many Sophia's in her class.

I think its a cute name, if you and your husband like it that is all that really matters there will always be that one person who has something to say about it so if you guys like it you should definitely use it:)
I think its super pretty
