I'm seven weeks with my first. My doctor wouldn't see me til I was 8 weeks, which is next week. I went to the bathroom and I'm TMI spotting little red spots on the toilet paper. My doctor closes at 12 on Fridays, they're already closed. Idk what to do. I'm at work and I'm freaking the hell out.

Maybe go to the ER....sometimes some bleeding is normal.

Do they have an answering service in which you could have them contact your doctor and ask what he/she wants you to do?

We had sex yesterday morning. It's just a few spots every time I wipe, and I'm slightly cramping but I've cramped the whole time so far.

Why do people suggest this? The ER isn't a magical cure all. They won't be able to do anything except confirm you are pregnant and tell you to follow up with your OB.

OP I would just take it easy and if it gets heavier and you start cramping then call your OB.

Having sex can cause you to bleed if he was hitting up against your cervix. If its not really heavy I wouldnt worry hun.

I had bleeding at the beginning of my pregnancy. I had a subatomic hemorrhage. ItIt's something common. I was told no sex, not even doing stuff to myself, and no lifting until it healed. It went away on its own.

That does make sense. Thank you for replying. I haven't got the chance to see my ob with this pregnancy so I'm clueless as what to do or what it means when something like this happens.

Exclamation

I hope not but if you were having a miscarriage they wouldn't do anything about it right now. Of you start bleeding through a pad an hour or develop a fever, then go. Also do not use tampons. Good luck OP. I hope everything turns it okay!

I hope it's just something common with me as well. I definitely won't be doing the deed anytime soon. This is just too freaking scary!

I would leave a message on your doctor's after hours voicemail.  More than likely he will tell u to go the Er.  Contrary to a different poster, yes they can do something at t he Er.  They can do an ultrasound to make sure that the egg and or fetus has planted properly. They can make sure your cervix is intact, etc.  So I would recommend going to the Er.  If you go to a decent hospital, trust me, been there, done that.  Every thing turned out fine but it waa a very difficult pregnancy.  Tell yourself everthing is ok so you want stress out but go anyway.  It won't hurt anything to go and put your mind at ease!

Just what I was told to do my OB....they won't deal with you unless your pass.18wks they just send you to the ER to determine whether it's a loss of pregnancy or something else
