At the 18-20 scan when you ask for the gender to be revealed and they say "it looks like a girl" is that a for sure thing that its a girl or would you still have your doubts. Im pretty sure what I saw was her little couchie lol... but then again I dont have a boy to tell what their gender looks like on an ultrasound. I thought I was going to get another scan at 28 weeks because I had one with my daughter but they told me everyone looks perfect so I wont be needing the scan so that kinda sucks I was going to ask them to recheck the gender so I could start shopping for the baby. I feel like its a girl but Im getting people telling me otherwise.... Someone please reassure me that I am having a girl..... Im dying to go shopping.

Unfortunately she didnt give me a picture :( I have ultrasound pics but its of the whole baby and the face. I saw a glimpse of the potty shot but my little one is a dancer. They wouldnt tell you girl if they didnt know for sure right? My last ultrasound didnt find out until 36 weeks I had an ultrasound to check her position because she was in transverse lie.

Thanks and i had the same reaction my last pregnancy lmao and my daughter just turned 2 lol. Im pretty convinced shes a girl but you can never be too sure until birth and not much shopping when everyone in my family just had girls so lots of hammy downs for her :P Save the real shopping for when shes around one or so :P

Haha yeah, throughout my whole pregnancy I was like "omg what if she's a boy?...then he will be wearing pink!!" Lol!!!! And that's great! I wish I had hammy downs for my daughter, it's so expensive to shop for babies when you're on a tight budget lol. (Just moved to different states when I was pregnant.)

Yea no kidding!! I just let my baby wear hammy downs (as long as they arent stained) And start the real shopping when they start walking and what not. I have a ton of clothes already for my daughter and a lot more coming!! Im just dying to buy a few cute outfits for her and buy some mutual colour clothes just in case.

I'm sure she wouldn't have told you anything if she wasn't pretty convinced, my son was a VERY visible boy at 18 weeks. here is a ultrasound pic so you can compare. 2a53b13751db8260d695743ecb889040.jpg

Thats what I am thinking but unfortunately I didnt get a picture or else I would post to show but my baby kept moving around so she wasnt able to get her still enough for a photo but we did get a glimpse at that potty shot and from what I seen it looked like a girl but then again its hard to know what your looking for when shes moving around so much lol.

Yeah it sucks have to think "what if they are wrong" Is there anyway you could find an affordable place for a gender ultrasound? i got one at 16 weeks for $50

Im actually considering it to be honest but my husband is against it lol says its a waste of time so I would have to get it done in secret lol but its bugging me now because my SIL was telling me how they were telling her shes having a girl and then at 28 weeks she got them to double check and her girl just magically grew a p***s lmao!! But I always have a hunch lol I told her from the beginning it was a boy and she said no because shes got 8 kids boy girl pattern but her recent son just messed all that up lmao!! But idk Im always going to have that "what if"
