Why are boy names so hard???

Seriously...this baby had better be a girl. Because we have roughly 3 billion (read, 12) names that are equal contenders if this is a boy. And we are no where near narrowing them down. Sad

Does anyone else find boys names to just be stupidly hard to narrow down?

Yep. Ww are not finding out the gender, so we need both a girl and boy name. We are set on a girl name, but cannot find a boy name we both like.

I have my boy name picked out and i'm not even pregnant! haha  I day dream about girl names and cannot figure any out. :(

Lol, we are totally the opposite. We found a name we agreed on, and we both love it. No problem picking it out.

I have no clue what this kid will be named if he's a boy. We've got a dozen options, and honestly neither of us have been able to narrow it down. We had thought we had it narrowed down and then it was like, no, just kidding. Angry

I had my sons name picked out the second we agreed on one. I didn't know what I was having at the time and felt the same way you feel about the boy names with the girls names. That is how I knew it would be a boy. Happened the same with my daughter had her named before I knew she was a girl too and boy names were harder for me to decide on.

With our first we didn't talk about named until we knew the gender, and yes boy names were hard. With our second we tried to pick names for each before we found out. The girl name was SO easy, but it still took a long time to come up with the boy name. We didn't decide on one until I was like 30 weeks.

No. We've found girl's names to be difficult.

I don't have a problem picking out like 20 names for each sex with like 3 that I absolutely love! My problem is convincing my SO to like any of the names I like! With my son I must have went through 1000's of names he said no to them all except Vincent that was one I wasn't even set on but now I wouldn't change it! We are having another boy now and one of the names I loved for our last is the name we are using except now I want to change it! :)

Girl names have always been harder for us than Boys.

It's the opposite for me. Girl names are so hard. I've had my second boys name picked out ever since right after my first son was born lol.

I've had a girl name picked out since the day after I found out I was pregnant. Still no boy name though. Mostly it's because SO rejects everything I say, but I think they are harder to come up with.

We're having a much harder time naming DD than we did DS. We had his name picked out but then DH was like what about Ezekiel and that was that. Naming DD is going to be the death of me.

SO and I are having trouble with names in general. We had a girls name picked out for the last 2 years, then a friend of ours used it so it went off the list. We had a boys name we planned to use if DD was a boy and one of my SILs recently had a baby and used the name. We're specifically having trouble with boys names, considering we have 7 nephews on SOs side.

Unless you're decided on names, i can't wait to discuss them with you.
