I'm 38 weeks. Been having contractions on and off for two weeks now. Baby's head has engaged. And she is grinding against my cervix. I haven't slept in 2 days, no appetite and major acid reflux that I almost puke...

is there anything you can suggest to help get labor going???

I have tried walking, spicy food, up and down stairs, and sex every night...

anything you can suggest? X

Bouncing on exercise ball? Bottom line though, labor will happen when your body and the baby are ready and you could still go 2-3 more weeks. It sucks, I know how it is, but it's beyond our control!

Nothing will start labor until baby is ready. You're almost done!! Hang in there!

Ino I'm just so tired now... Been in early stages for almost two weeks but contractions keep slowing :( I just want to be able to sleep and have a reason for my lack of sleep lol

Nothing will work until baby is ready. I had all of that for the last 2 months I was pregnant with DS.

If you're doing all that and still not happening then I guess you have no choice but to just wait. She'll come when she's ready to apparently!

Try a warm shower or bath. I know it's hard when you're uncomfortable and in pain but relaxing is one of the best things you can do right now.

Walking put me into labor with both of mine. If none of that's working I think you can only wait. You can be induced at 39 weeks...but I'd suggest against it. Only cuz I was induced with my first and it sucked worse than my second, natural labor.
