Can I be pregnant? Kathleen Schroeder TTC since Feb 2014; United States 9 posts

I was suppose to start my period today and i took a pregnancy test this morning which was negative. Can I still be? i have Ovia on my phone which helps me track my stuff. It said i was fertile between July 4th - July 9th. I had sex on July 4th and July 7. Can those days have gotten me pregnant? My boobs have been sore as normal and a couple days back i was pretty gassy but not sure if it was from other stuff. I have a headache today. I'm not really feeling preiod cramps like i normally do. A couple days ago i had horrible leg cramps and i thought it was do to my period coming but nothing. Oh and my temp this am was 97.9
   Any insight is appreciated..
Thank You,
Kat

If you've had sex then yes you could be pregnant.

Yeah you can be pregnant, I would wait a few more days and take another test with first morning urine.

Nope. You can only be pregnant if you had sex during a full moon while listening to wolves howl.

You probably shouldn't be having sex if you don't understand how children are made.

Um i have a child. I didn't say i didn't know how children were MADE. The reason i asked is because i have been TTC for some time now and i seem to run in to this issue of thinking i may be, but i'm not sure if i keep missing ovulation but then again i try to have sex on different days so i don't miss it. But you're filled with nothing but ignorance and i feel sorry for the people around you.

By definition, you are displaying the act of ignorance. How about using OPK's and tracking things like CM instead of simply relying on an app that estimates.

with most home test you need to be a few days late and use first pee of the day  but good luck

If you are ttc you should be tracking your bbt and using opks because an app on your phone is not accurate at all. I would suggest getting a bbt thermometer and go onto fertilityfriend.com to learn how to chart your cycles.
And btw, not everyone was rude to you so the only one filled with ignorance right now is you. If you have sex there is always a possibility of being pregnant thats the basics of sex ed. Now you should go onto google and do some research, it can take a perfectly healthy couple 6+ months to conceive.
