Anyone know if this is safe? We did it before I got pregnant, then once we found out I was quit kind of out of assuming I shouldn't. I think it would probably be great exercise for me though. Anyone know if it is recommended to avoid?

Exercise is encouraged.

Just don't push yourself too far!

From what I understand, if you were doing it before then your body is used to it and it's not a big deal - especially when you're not that far along. One your start getting a belly I'd probably stop so you don't fall and have a bad accident though. And listen to your body - if it's telling you to stop - please stop

I went bike riding up to 16 weeks and then I was just too tired. They say to be careful cause your center of gravity is off and the main concern is falling.

This makes me feel better! I haven't ridden on the back of our Harley since finding out I was pregnant in April and I miss it! We're going ok a ride this weekend for sure! Thanks! Super Happy

Thanks everyone for the opinions and advice. I've actually missed doing it. I have the trailer on the back of my bike though to pull DD. I think I may get DH to pull her instead, but I'll talk to him about trying it out one of these nights soon! :)

Yep :) My friend rode on the back of her husbands all through her pregnancy. My pregnancy is high risk for premature labor so I cant go anymore :(

Aw bummer Very Sad We also live in Arizona, so it's been over 100 degrees for a few months and we usually don't ride til it's in the 90s. However there have been a few nice days and we opt to take the car because I was worried. We have very loud aftermarket tail pipes so it's very loud and it rumbles quite a bit. What kind of Harley do you guys have?! We have a 2013 V-Rod!

It's a 2008 street glide. Here's a pic... Except now it has ape hangers. My DH is in an MC so yeah I'd say the bike is pretty loud. Lol 586211410dd2aac02e29184ac2b4372c.jpg

I'm so jealous of your backrest, lol! This is ours, a 2013 V-Rod. I can't wait for nicer weather! It's really a weekend rider because we each have our own cars for commuting, but I really do miss it lol. Thanks again for the reassurance!! Mid Happy
