For those who crochet, I need your help! Megan❤ TTC since Jun 2013; 1 child; 1 angel baby; Kentucky 1400 posts

Hey ladies!

I'm in need of some help finding a decent tutorial for crocheting boy items, mostly clothing and accessories. I crochet scarves mostly, so I can easily come up with my own scarf pattern for my son, but I would like to create sweaters, jackets/coats, vests, etc. I also know how to make hats and can probably figure out mittens and have seen a few tutorials for those things.. But I have yet to find a well written tutorial in a blog or an excellent video tutorial on YouTube for making a boy's sweater or coat.

I see so many cute patterns for crochet that are mostly girl-themed, and when I do find a boy-themed item, it's usually for knitting and not crochet. I cannot knit with knitting needles.. I do loom knit, but I just have a cheap long loom that I bought from Wal-Mart to dabble in loom knitting.. Eventually I will invest in a better loom set so I can make all kinds of things with the set, but for now I really just crochet, and only use my loom for ruffle scarves.

I just want to make him some cute fall/winter things to wear this year since I have improved a ton since I started crocheting a couple of years ago.

So yeah, thanks for any help you ladies can give me, I'll really appreciate it.
