Does anyone know why I keep burping and it tastes like rotten eggs? It is disgusting and is not like my usual heartburn. I've had this all day and it's making me insane! I have been eating tums like crazy and nothing is helping. I have no pains in my stomach and feel fine, other that these rotten, nasty burps! HELP!

I think that means you're backed up.

It happened to me a lot as a kid.

If you're not pregnant [I forgot to check status before hitting reply], try drinking a little bit of epsom salt as a laxative. That should help.

Okay, so you ARE pregnant.

Ask your doctor if he/she thinks it's okay for you to take some epsom salt.

Well, I read that these are actually called sulfur burps, and are often caused by IBS [irritable bowel syndrome]. So it's most likely just something you ate that didn't agree with the ol' intestinal tract.

I wouldn't worry though. It'll go away on its own.

Wow... Weird...
I was having the same thing happen earlier. I took some Zantac 75 and it seems to clear it up for most of the day! Its prego safe... Maybe you can try that?
I honestly think it was the TUMS that gave me the icky tummy feeling!
