Just wondering is it possible to feel the babys heart beat I was just sitting here with my hand on the top of my stomach & felt what feels like the rythem of his heartbeat, I felt him move a couple times but still felt the "heartbeat feeling" at the sametime it was strange...........

It's your own heartbeat. You can't feel the baby's but your blood volume doubles when you're pregnant and you can feel your own pulse almost anywhere it seems.

Depending on how far along you are, that could be the hiccups!!

Yeah of course =) I felt my daughter's heart beat 2 weeks ago.. I knew it wasn't mine or the placenta because it was a little faster..

edit-- unless i was mistaken.. =P

I doubt its the heart beat, i was told you cant feel it. I get that feeling alot and when we had our ultrasound i had the feeling and come to find out its her s*****g on her thumb, it was adorable!

Your heartbeat or the hiccups...the hiccups can be sneaky at first :)!

about how far along are you when you actually notices hiccups, and can distinguish that they are hiccups? I'm almost positve thats what I felt the other day...
