Did your baby move more or less before you went into labor? hctravis 3 kids; Springfield, Missouri 601 posts

I'm just curious...Myson hasbeen a VERY active baby since I first felt him move but he hasn't moved very much at all today which is very out of character for him (but he has moved enough that I'm not concerned about it). I've heard that they dont move as much before labor starts...oh btw (TMI) I have had diarrhea since last night which I've heard is also a sign of labor and I've had more BH contractions than normal. I'm just worried that I'll go into labor earlier than I'm supposed to. I tried to call the on call nurse's line at L & D to ask them, but all I got was the voicemail. :(

I'm due right before you and my doctor told me yesterday if I were to go into labor she would let me deliver. I had steriods though at 24 weeks to advance his lungs due to premature labor. My little guy is usually pretty active too but not so much today.

Your baby is getting big and is running out of room to move. The true signs of labor will be your contractions being minutes apart and the bloody show.

I'm 35w 4days so I'm almost 36 and he is measuring big they think. I'll get a better estimate on mondayat my doc appt. Im just a little worried that his lungs wont be fully developed if I were to go tonight. The closer it gets to my due date the more I worry and obsess over stupid things it seems like. But the weirdest part about that is that I'm not really worried about labor at all. I'm worried that he wont be healthy or something will happen after I bring him home....I've been childproofing/nesting like crazy I really think I've lost my mind.....lol
