My almost 2 year old spiked a fever of 102.3(i took it under his arm). He now has diarrhea. Tylenol help's but doesn't help the pooping! Call the doctor? I know kid's can tolerate fever pretty well.

call the pedi but while you wait for the appointment...give him a cool bath leave his clothes off. Pedialite to drink since he has diarrhea!! try getting a rectal temp. If it's over 104 go to the ER

I'd just keep an eye on the fever, as long as he stays hydrated there is nothing that the doctor would do.If his fever doesn't go down with tylenol use motrin-back and forth, or if his fever just won't go down just go to the er.Good luck, sickness sucks!

my dr said motrin and tylenol at the same time is safe because they work in defferent ways with different medicine. thats the o
nly way I could keep my daughters termp below 103 the last time she had a stomach virus!
