I STILL have hip pain, swollen feet, and a preggo nose!! I'm 5 weeks, 1 day PP, when is this stuff supposed to go away?? I STILL WADDLE! (not as bad as before but damn!) School starts in less than a month, and I dont want people to look at me and be like WTF. When am I going to go back to normal? This is kind of embarrassing.

Pregnancy changes your body all over, and sometimes the changes just don't disappear altogether. After 15 months my feet still swell if I spend too much time on them, my face still has a very full look to it (that pregnancy swelling stuff) where as before my cheek bones and jawline were way too prominent, and my breasts still have the huge oil glands that look like pimples on my areolas. It's normal for your body to not go completely back to normal.

i was still having super bad pain till about 7 weeks PP.
i was walking slower than i was when i was pregnant till about 6 weeks pp.. i was torn to pieces lol
my back was hurting, my hips hurt, everything hurt until about 7 weeks..
it takes time to all go back to normal... ive heard it can take a year for all your organs and what not to settle back into place.

It took your body 9 months to get like that, so expect 9 months for it to return.

My 1st child just turned 7 months and I'm still kinda like that. My feet are still just swollen if I walk for long period of times and my back still hurts if I move or bend the wrong way. Now that I am pregnant with my 2nd, I dont ever think I will get back to normal. Just take it easy and dont stress over it, it makes it worse. If have time to yourself take a warm bath and just relax, or if you have a foot tub put some espon salt it in and do it that while feeding or taken care of your little one!

HMMM. i also think that maybe it might have to do with the fact that i got reallllllly big when i was pregnant. I gained 61 lbs and only lost about 30 so far.. And i still want to lose about 50 more to get to a "comfortable" size. The extra weight is probably whats still causing the hip pain and what not.

I need to get my ass exercising!!
