How many of you have taken an afternoon preg test and gotten a BFN and then tested with first morning urine and got a BFP?

I took one in the afternoon and it came up positive. I think if you took one and it said negative, then maybe wait a few days and then take another with the first morning's.

It is strongest inthe moring bc more HCG has built up in your urine over night. I tested in the evening with both my pregnancy and got positives. Altho with this one the one in the morning waas more clear

I tested at about 2 am when I was pregnant with my son and got 3 positives in a row, but I was already 9 weeks along.

I took my first test in the afternoon and it was positive(and I go potty like 90 times a day, even when i'm not prego) so my first morning's urine was long gone! I actually took 3 tests within like 2 hours and they were all positive. I used cheapo tests too and I wasjust starting4 weeks along at the time and they still showed up positive! The lines were kind of faint but they were there!

You just need concentrated urine until your HcG levels become high enough that they can be detected in diluted urine. Then you can test whenever you like! They only recommend first morning urine because you have odds are not peed in a couple of hours before it.

I took the first test around three pm and it turned positive before I could put it down. Of course I didn't believe it and thought it was necessary to go out and buy two more to make sure. I got BFP's all three times. In the afternoon.

I think it all really depends on how early you are testing. If it's like 9 or 10 dpo, that's when I tested then a BFN could happen mid afternoon but you could get a bfp with first morning urine. I took a mid day test at 9 dpo and got the faintest line that almost looked like a BFN, but then waited until morning and it came out slightly more visible at 10 dpo. I've taken tests just for fun now and it doesn't matter what time of day b/c the hcg is high enough.
