Baby kicking low... friendlygirl626 6 kids; Kansas 8593 posts

For the last few weeks I have been feeling the kicks and movement around my belly button area. We went in for our sonogram at 20 weeks and the tech said that the baby was head down and everything was perfect. I am now almost 22 weeks and for the last 3-4 days I have been feeling the movement more down by my cooter. Do you think that baby may have flipped or maybe just started discovering more hand movement? Does this sound normal?

Your baby could have flipped back around. I know mine did, and at 31 weeks she still isn't head down anymore. It's really no telling the baby is moving more or has flipped

It's still normal at this point for the baby to change positions. My baby flops all over the place all day long lol.

There is still ample room in there for baby to change positions all day long. Also, your uterus is just now moving up past your belly button so it is normal for baby to hang out kinda low.

The baby flips easily this early on without you even knowing it. During my ultrasound, my little guy did a summer-sault (Sp?) right before my eyes. It was too funny. I didn't feel a thing. I guess he didn't like all that poking the tech was doing to him.

I had my ultrasound on Tuesday, and my baby was head down very low. I've always felt herkicksvery low. Babys are still have a lot of room to move around at this point.

Thanks ladies...I feel much better now. Wouldn't surprise me at all that this little one was flipping around in there. The tech doing the scan actually asked us if we were ready for this active of a baby since it was all over the place when she was trying to measure its heart/bladder/ect...
