Both my kids drank Lactaid to start with but grew out of it by the time they were 2. Regular milk caused gas & diahrrea for both of them, & ice cream also did it.

My friends daughter has an allergy to milk and when she has it she starts to get puffy and red around her eyes and mouth. She can't have anything with milk in it or she starts to have a reaction. She has to drink rice milk.

If he had an allergy to milk....he would also more than likely have horrible horrible diarrhea and/or vomiting. My guess is he has dry skin.

My son is allergic to ALL milk. He can have formula, it does not bother him but regular milk gives him really bad diarrhea. He can have yogurt, cheese, and milk products he just cant have milk.
