So I'm 32 weeks and while I was sleeping last night, I felt this really fast vibration like movement from my baby. It lasted for about 5 seconds or so. Kinda felt like my baby was having a seizure if that's even possible. I know its not hiccups because I feel my baby's hiccups all the time. It was really different and I'm a little worried. Has anyone else experienced this??

I havent felt that but i have read similar posts from worried moms and the experienced moms said it was normal. I used to work in a hospital in pediatrics and i've had a lot of friends with babies. Babies have tremors sometimes that are totally harnless and normal. That's probably what you felt.

My first did the same thing and so does this one... It's kinda like they shiver... Or they are dreaming and get startled... I just say that my lil monkey fell out of her tree! :)

He does that almost everyday now. Maybe he's getting mad at me because he's running out of room. lol.

Hi gals, I was just at the hospital today for a non-stress test because of this same thing. Has me freaked out, but your responses make me feel a bit better. this is my 2nd pregnancy and with my first I had nothing like this! It does feel like a seizure! That's how I described it to my midwife, and everyone at the hospital was baffled today. Of course, during the test the baby was perfectly still, so it was pointless. I notice it most at night when I lay down to sleep. Anyone else notice that same timing?

It only happens to me when I lay down to sleep too! I dont feel it at all when Im standing up or during the day..It seems like this is happening to many pregnant ladies so I dont know why the doctors are so clueless about it...:?

I'm going to print off these posts and show them to my Dr. and Midwife. At least then they can have some knowledge about this, and can calm the fears of moms-to-be that come in complaining of the same sensation. It certainly doesn't seem to be super-duper uncommon, being as we've all been looking for answers over the last 2 days.
