I was GRACO ALL THE WAY 4 yrs ago w Brae and well now coming up w this baby I see that Evenflo does have quite some cute stuff out there and they are cheaper soooo what are u guys opinions?
Do u mix em both or are u all the way one OR the other here?!
I think evenflo is a better brand but I use both.
Personally, I think Evenflo is a better brand, but I bought all my stuff Graco, only because I'm highly particular and Graco had more so the patterns I was looking for and also they had the entire set. Evenflo needs to do alot more sets
I loooovvvveeee graco, I did have a evenflo double stroller and hated it but it's the only thing from evenflo I've had. I've never had a problem with Graco things though, I just recently got a jeep stroller though and love it.
I love Graco. I don't think I own anything Evenflo.
i'm graco all the way, i had a couple of things that were evenflo and had to take them back because they were defective...
I got an evenflo travel system with my son because I loved the handle on the carseat. The shape of it made it easier to carry. BUT the stroller was poorly made and the wheel pin slowly started to bend and eventually broke to where the wheel fell off.
We JUST bought the Graco Stylus Travel system in the Wyndham today at Wal Mart.. it has so many great reviews on it and even though we haven't opened it, I really thinkit's going to be an awesome stroller/carseat set.
The pattern is SO pretty too.. pretty blues & browns.. I like it because even though it's blue & brown it's still appropriate for a little girl so we'll definitely get multiple use out of it if we ever have a baby girl down the road!

I did MAJOR research on both brands and it seems that the Graco products are made so much better and have so many more features. I just bought the Graco Catalina Pack n Play and the Catalina Travel system....gorgeous!
I have all Graco products and I love the quality and how the different pieces fit together..... I especially love how the carseat fits into the Sweet Peace swing base.
Graco is much better then evenflo.
Also do not get a evenflo car seat
There are much better seats out there to choose from. Here are some of the reasons I don't really like the evenflo infant seats.
The evenflo embrace must be used with a base (I think some of the newer ones may be modified to work without a base, but not sure if those are in the stores yet). The other evenflo seats can be used without a base, but please check the directions or callto make sure. This isn't very practical in some situations where you need to install the seat in another car but don't want to move the base. Most other seats allow you to install a seat without the base.
The evenflo bases are often quite complicated to get installed correctly in a car. They seem to take a lot more effort to get installed correctly then other carseat brands. Getting the infant seat in and out of the base isn't always very easy to do.
All the evenflo infant seats require 1.5 inches of space between the carseat and the seat in front of the carseat. This is very hard to obtain in most vehicles. Also the handle must be installed in the down position in all vehicles. Lots of newer seats made today allow the handle to be installed up while in a moving vehicle, but the evenflo ones require the handle be completely folded down in the vehicle (and of course not touching the seat in front of it and having 1.5" of clearance). Most other carseats allow the carseat to touch the seat in front of it.
Many of the evenflo seats still have the 3-point harness vs the 5-point harness. It has been known for quite a while that the 5-point harness is much safer but they still produced the 3-point harness because it sells.
There have been way to many evenflo recalls on their infant seats. The fix that they just released on the evenflo discovery infant seat is a true mess. They are expecting people to put the seat into the base and then install a strap from the base onto each side of the seat into a tiny flimsy hole. I don't see too many parents using the recall fix due to it being too complicated (what if you have the seat sitting right next to another carseat where you can't reach the strap that must be connected each time), and thus many babies are at risk due to the seat releasing from the seat.
Here is an interesting article regarding evenflo in how they have handled safety concerns with their infant seats: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/s...=true&ctrack=1
