Which the woman who originally posted this, never said anything about the reason why she was using weed while pregnant, just worried about drug tests. Yea if you're that worried about it, no time better to quit than the present.

My midwife who has delivered hundreds of babies said it was safe as long as you didn't do it too much. I know several women who have children, who smoked throughout their entire pregnancies, and they all have perfectly healthy children. If your worried about drug testing in hospitals, than maybe looking into a home birth might be the best alternative. there are awesome midwives everywhere. Personally I think it's much worse to be sedated with pain medications during birth than it is to have a toke once and a while to calm your morning sickness. m*******a use has been misunderstood for years. People look at it like it's a horrible drug, but really if you think about it. Have you ever heard of anyone dying from it? people die from drinking and driving everyday. yet alcohol is legal? wtf!! here is a great article about a respected Docter who studied m*******a use in pregnancy for 18 years read this and then you can judge..http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/1404.html

Luckily, it is your choice! I am 12 weeks and I vaporize weed daily. People can be really judgmental but I could care less what they think! If I have a headache, I take some Tylenol and if I have morning sickness, I vaporize m*******a! :)

I love how everyone has such a strong, and rude opinion. Didn't YOUR mothers ever teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say not to say anything at all??!! Also, how many of you have actually spent time doing research yourself on why smoking is bad for a baby, besides taking the word of other researchers and knowing only... that its bad because it causes this problem or that problem. DO YOU KNOW WHAT EXACTLY CAUSES THE PROBLEMS? THE CHEMICALS? THE definitions, that causes anything? Stay away from answering this if you don't know the answer, thanks! I think you guys are so rude, the true word is IGNORANT because I do not see a PHD in weed studies next to your name thanks! Now go take your vicodins ... and SHUT UP. God. People are dumb. Me, I actually have spent HOURS AND HOURS DOING RESEARCH ON THE SUBJECT, thank you for vaporizing.. have you considered edibles? Even better... unfortunately I do not know the answer to the drug test, but it's unlikely, and that's an opinion so I'm sorry, I too wish I knew the answer.

Tylenol doesnt even help with my headaches! m*******a cures aches, pains, headaches, morning sickness... its freakin great I would always choose it over a pill ANYDAY

This is my first time on this sight and my last. As far as vaporizing while pregnant, it is a personal choice and the ppl making that choice dont need ignorance and judgement and nastiness. They need facts and information so they can make an informed decision. The fact that you are here asking for advice shows you are concerned and care about you and your child. Obviously most of you out there know nothing of truly living with chronic pain or other illnesses. I was able to get off all of the harmful Deadly pain killers and find a natural way to ease pain and depression and anxiety. So obviously you can have your OPINION, but do your research before getting on your high horse. My advice would be to stop all together around 7 or 8 months. Thats my plan! Good luck!

First off i jus wanna say m*******a is a completly diffrent substance than tobacco and alchol by far... its no where near as harmful now i will give u that when u smoke m*******a there are certian chemicals that can b harmful to a pregnant woman and the child however those chemicals are only realeased when it is burned... vaporizing is very diffrent however theres no combustion process first off so there are no harmful chemicals released all thats done when vaporizing is very hot air usually around 300 to 400 degrees is passed thru the cannabis turning the chemicals u actually want (thc) into vapor... so in short vaporizing is a much better way to consume cannabis, but im.not suggesting prego women go.out and get hi all day everyday but i dnt c the problem if ur feeling really sick from morning sickness or u have bad cramping or whatever pains women have to experience when pregnant so i say yes its not so bad jus dnt mke it a habit and only if u really need it hope this helps... also i have a good friend whos wife smoked pot only thru all 4 of her pregnancies and her children are as healthy as can be

I'm on my 3rd pregnancy..I smoked MaryJ with my first pregnancy. My Ob had told me to make sure I do quit about 6 weeks before my due date. Although he also told me,if I chose to keep smoking to definitely stop smoking ciggs, that they were much more dangerous to the fetus and that the THC would not be harmful to the fetus.I stopped at about 7 months. I did not smoke with my second pregnancy or this pregnancy. People can trash talk all they want, but the truth is..there is no withdrawal factors in this case. The only reason its "bad" is because its illegal...which in a few years I'm pretty sure 60-80% of the US will have legalized m*******a..by reading statistic's and researches done on the scenario.I've never heard of vaporizing it though! I'm going 2 research it just because I love to learn and I guess it hasn't hit Maryland yet,my older brother is a heavy smoker and would have def known about this one.And the whole it takes 30 days to get out of your system is a crock of bullshit, every person is different,I'm an extremely petite female,5foot 1inch and 106lbs before pregnancy..and when I was quitting smoking months before I found out I was pregnant I pissed dirty for over 60 days!Every test I took was positive for THC,at one point in time my THC levels INCREASED when they obviously should have been decreasing because I wasn't even AROUND anyone who was smoking. I talked to a drug counsuler, because at the point I was extremely confused and he had informed me it does indeed depend on how much and how frequently you are smoking to determine the length of time THC is going to be out of your system,THC stores in your fat cells...typically women have more fat cells then men.I'm not saying it's bad bc i def did my research when I was pregnant with my first child and I talked to my OB about it. He didn't condone it because it is illegal but he also didn't oppose it because it isn't as dangerous as cigs which are smoked way more by pregnant woman who know the risks!! But I will say be careful because the one thing he did inform me of is he has no say of what happens after the baby is born and here the do test the baby after birth,it's just a standard policy and CPS would have got involved if my son was born with THC in his system. To be on the safe side,I would urge you to stop in time to give your baby and yourself time to get a clean system or you may have to deal with the ugly side of things and you don't want to go through that! You want to be able to take your baby home with you and enjoy motherhood without someone looking over your shoulder and questioning how good or bad of a mommy you are. GL to you and I hope everything goes well for you and your LO.
