If I am not pregnant I have decided not to TTC anymore. I have enough kids and I think its better I enjoy these years before they r gone. Tomorrow I am suppose to go to the OB but my main goal now is to see about a tubal ligation. For those who have had them does it hurt really bad afterwards? Do your periods go away eventually? Do you start to menopause lol? How common is tubal pregnancies after the surgery? How bad are periods after its done?
I just had mine done last Wednesday :D
I was sore for almost a week. My belly button is still semi black and blue with scabs. I feel great knowing I don't have to piss around with BC anymore :D It's worth it, to me.
It's same day surgery.
Yep you can get up to pee. In fact, they want you to pee before you go anywhere. Warning, the cramps you will have are nothing compared to AF. In fact, I would have rathered going into labor again. But, everyone is different.
The gas they fill you with will end up making your shoulders hurt as well. It's very uncomfortable for a few days. Request hard core pain killers.
And, i've only been tied for a week. I'm not fat, yet :D
I opted to do the essure permantent birth control. I love it. there was no down time and I was in and out of the hosptal is less than 3 hours and that after noon I went to work cleaning houses.
eek! this sounds painful
