About 25 mins ago, I had a few sharp pains in my pelvic area... thenI got up to go pee. When I sat down I started shaking really bad and uncontrollably, and feeling nauseated. I came back downstairs and sat with my DH thinking I was just having a panic attack. Well, the shaking still hasn't stopped... and since then I have puked. Only had a few sharp pains since it started, but no other symptoms. Just shaking like crazy.

I am going to call L&D, but I thought while I was waiting I'd see if anyone else experienced this before labor....

Thanks!

I've never heard of this. I'm anxious to know what you find out and that you're okay.

I had the shaking in labor too, do you think that could be it?

I didn't start shaking until I was well into labor. I think I was around 8 cm dilated! You better check!! Oh my this is so exciting! :)

Labor dust! I shook during labor but it was because of the epidural

I didn't end up calling L&D last night, as I was able to breathe myself back to calm and stop shaking. However, when I woke up this morning I had a couple of back pains or twinges and started feeling a little nervous again. I spoke with nurses at my doctors office today, and they said that since this is my first I may be in back labor and not know it. She said back labor happens a LOT faster than any other labor, and switched my appointment to TODAY at 2:15...

I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for the replies last night!!
