Dangers of Kerosene? HopelesslyDevoted714 Due July 13; Augusta, Georgia 1 posts

In the mornings, my parents usually run a large kerosene heater for about fifteen minutes. Usually, Im in my room ( not anywhere near the heater ) but when I go to the bathroom or kitchen for about the next hour I can smell the fumes from running the heater. Is this dangerous since I am six weeks pregnant and what are the dangers to the baby??

I have no specific knowledge, but I'd minimize your exposure to it especially in your first trimester. Can they run it earlier so that by the time you get up most fumes are gone? Can they switch to another heat source while you are home? Kerosene is very stinky.
