Does/did anyone have Braxton Hicks basically all day?

Should I expect this all the way up to my due date? Or is my body preparing my baby for an early eviction?

They came and went for me. Maybe just keep an eye on them or start timing them. Some women's contractions aren't painful at first, so start timing them from the start of one to the start of another and if they are the EXACT same time apart (like every 5 min or less)maybe call or go to L&D.

I get them all the time throughout most of the day. I suppose it's made a bit of a progression since at my last appt. I was 1cm dilated and my cervix was soft. But that can stay like that for a long time before baby actually comes. I am getting induced next week though, so I won't ever get to really know how long it would have taken naturally... Unless I go before my induction date :)

If you want to time them there is a great site for doing it...

No prob I'm timing mine right now... Although they are hurting more than normal... Well they actually hurt... Usually the don't hurt at all, they're just annoying. But right now they hurt and my back hurts and I'm feeling crampy... Maybe I won't make it to my induction date after all... Hahahaha

I have been having BHs daily, in a fairly consistant manner (a couple an hour, etc) since I was 34 weeks. I'm 37 weeks now and still pregnant. My doctor told me though that my cervix is "very nice" and that the BHs have helped get my cervix ready. So if you're stuck with them until you deliver, at least you know it wasn't all for nothing. Just make sure they aren't coming more than 5 minutes together, otherwise its fairly normal to have a ton of them according to my doctor.
