Giving birth standing up!! user banned

Has anyone ever given birth standing up? I seen this video the other day and it said there is hardly any pain, and its much faster giving birth standing up. It also said its the laying down while giving birth that causes all the pain and time.

I guess its why most animals seem not to be in pain while giving birth... they just stand and the baby drops out.

Laying on your back constricts your pelvis and makes your pushes not as effective.

Standing up or squatting allows gravity to help you.

I gave birth in a squatting position.

I have to add, this wont work if you have any sort of medication as they will keep you in the bed. To much risk of not having your legs, but I have heard the squatting or standing up position helps greatly. And leaning over something while standing. gives you support as you push.
Little Foots Mama, did you go all natural?

Ugh, I only wish... I was in labor 48 hours and had to push for 4 and I couldn't even get out of bed to walk to the bathroom because my blood pressure was so high they thought I was going to have a stroke, LOL. Oh well, maybe next time.
