Im 5+ months pregnant and I was wondering.... Is it safe to
eat stuff like Lean Cuisine and Slim Fasts???
I'm not on a diet or trying to loose weight. It's just lately I've been craving Lean Cuisine, I used to eat it before I was preggo and I found it quite good.
And sometimes at work I crave something chocolatey and I really liked the chocolate flavored slim fast and I really want it!!!! I'm not gonna substitute any meal with a slim fast, I just want it as a snack or something.
Please, if you know anything about it being safe or not, let me know. :D

Thanx in advanced

The lean cuisines are fine and personally I see nothing wrong with the slim fast because it has a lot of good vitamins in it, just as long as you want it for a snack and not a meal replacement. You may want to try Carnation Breakfast shakes, they are way better and chocolate! I love them

I have eaten lean cuisines for lunch every day (well work days) of my pregnancy and I'm fine. There's nothing in them that would harm the baby....they are just healthy.

Slim fast curves your hunger= limiting nutrient intake. Not a good idea.

I eat whatever. But personally, I think the Carnation Instant Breakfast is a better alternative. It's so yummy!

I think both are fine, I agree with you about the lean cuisine, I used to eat them just because I like them and the portions are just right for lunch with a piece of fruit.
You could ask your doc about the slimfast, I worked with a girl who said her doctor told her to drink it (she was prego) because she was sick and it did have alot of nutrients in it, she just didn't follow the slimfast diet.

Just be careful with the L.C.s because they usually have a high amount of sodium. Drink plenty of water! :)
