well as my doctor says I have a very stubborn cervix. I still have plenty of time before i hit the 42week mark

I wondered if any one had some suggestions on how to help soften my cervix?

* My husband is away overseas so sex is out of the question*

I justwant to help my body prepare- soften and such.

Not to be a b***h, but just let it happen on its own. The only thing that can soften your cervix is your baby!

Nothing that I know of will soften it except for your child. But good luck with it.

i am just like you trying to find ways to soften my cervix
mine is really stubborn too, it doesn't help having a tilted uterus

my OB said to try a few things
eat pineapple
walk alot especially over hills
take bumpy car rides
primrose oil capsule (by mouth or vaginally)
castrol oil (only 2oz a day = 4 tablespoons)
spicy food

me personally i hate when you ask a simple question, and alot of people act like you are trying to kill your baby, yes the baby will come out when he is ready, but obviously if you have to be induce because your past 40 weeks, whelp in my opinion the people who say to play the waiting game and wait to be induce, to me your forcing the baby out when he isn't ready, cuz there is obviously a reason why the baby doesn't want to come out, so too me they are just eating there own words.

Evening Primrose Oil Capsules (you can get them at your drugstore)

You insert them at night and they dissolve. They won't "force" you into labor, but they do help soften the cervix.

Good Luck!
