What do you moms think of piercing your daughters ears? My little girl got her 2 month shots yesterday and now she is able to get them done. I want to do it early so she wont be trying to rip them out later on. For the moms that have done it how did it go and didthey heal up well?

It is so much easier when they are little. Give her some tylenol right before but chances are she will be fine. Make sure you check the dots to amke sure they are lined up before they shoot. Sometimes they can do them both at one time.

My youngest daughter was 3 months she only cried for a second they healed VERY quick b/ she didn't touch them all the time like older kids. She is 23 months now and I'm not sure she even knows they are there still, lol!!

ell its all personal preference. In my family, we waited until they got older so that they could decide to pierce them or not.. But thats just my opinion. I don't see how it could hurt her. The worst thing that would happen is when she gets older she wouldn't want them anymore but thats an easy fix :-D

Good luck!

My mom got mine pierced when I was about 2 1/2 months and I plan on doing the same with my daughter. If she didn't get mine pierced when I was young, I probably would have never got them pierced at all lol.

I won't do it until my daughter is old enough to take care of them herself. I was 13 and it was something I looked forward to. I got to pick out my own earrings and my mom made a special day of it. I wouldn't want to take that experience away from my daughter. You can make it a very special memory.
