I was bitten by a tick yesterday and by the time I found it, it was already attached to my skin.

Does your dr have a nurse line thing or the hospital? Like the L&D nurse line.... it would save alot more time than sitting in the ER.... Sorry im not more help :)

Is it possible you didn't pull all of the tick out and it's head isn't still under your skin?

Well going to the doctor about it definitely couldnt hurt. Lyme's disease is nothing to let go. My brother had it. I dont know about the red bump, he actually got a "bullseye" around the spot that the tick had bit him.

Also, Deer Ticks (the teeny tiny ones that you can barely see) are normally the only ones that carry it, so you are more than likely fine, but like I said, it couldnt hurt to get tested.

I caught Lyme Disease while pregnant.

If the tick was on you for 12 hours, then I would worry about getting Lyme disease.

Also the area will look like a bullseye.

Mine did, I took antibotics.

I got bitten by a tick yesterday and by the time DH pulled it off me, it was attached also. He pulled it off me at 1 am, so it was on me for at least 6-8 hrs.

I do not have any redness or anything, but I'm a little freaked out. Should I just wait until tomorrow (Mon) to see what happens, if anything. And then call the dr? Or should I call my dr regardless?

I know this topic is kind of old, but I just thought I'd check here before starting a new post. Thanks!
