How long do you use a 4oz. bottle with a baby cuz i want to breastfeed on the breast for at least 3 weeks before introducing a bottle and i wanna no if im going to need and more 4oz. bottle lines than i already have (I'm doing Playtex drop ins and i have the Playtex drop ins breast pump) just wondering thank you for the info.
Well I am doing the dr Browns. I used the 2 oz for like 2 weeks, and then for the past 2 weeks the 4 oz bottles. she is only eating about 3 oz every few hours. But from what I was reading around 2 months most babies start eating around 4-5 oz. So I would assume only for about a month or 2 at most. I actually had to buy a few more so I have 9, so that when the dishwasher is running I have 3 left over always.
my son never had over 4oz each feeding...
Anslie stopped using the 4 oz bottles at around 2 1/2 months.
Its hard to say... Iknow that with my son when I put him on formula he was on 4oz at 4wks old, 4wks later he was at 6oz & I had to go buy more bottles. Usually if u look around u can get bigger ones that attach to ur pump. I thought my Tommee Tippee one only had the 4oz bottles to then I found 8oz ones I think. When Ayden was breastfed he'd drink 4oz & still be starving that was at 2wks.
My son is ebf but once in a while when he has a bottle of pumped milk he never has eaten over 4 oz. and he's4 mo.
we still use the 4 oz bottles, with juice, shes 5 months and eats 7-9 oz each feeding, but she eats on a 8 oz bottle for hours, eating a lil at a time
My daughter is 6 weeks almost and I pump and she eats about 4-5 oz at a time :)
My daughter is almost 4 months and she is still eating 4 oz. She gets 6 oz at bedtime though.
i have a ton of 8-10oz bottles that will work on my pump i just want to know if im going to need a ton more liners and if i should have more than 3, 4oz. bottles i don't think i will if i will only use them for a month or so if i start bottle feeding at 1 mo. but well see i guess i will get another 50 box of liners just to be safe and call it even thanx ladies for the info.
