Alright- better late than not at all. Thank you all for your patience. This next week's challenge isa two-weeker!

LINK TO OUR MAIN GROUP THREAD
http://forum.baby-gaga.com/about507952.html
Please read through the original post to get info about what we are doing. You may join the challenges without joining the main thread but ALL submissions shared in the Challenge threads need to be new, just for the challenge. Thanks for playing!:D

Urbanscapes and Streetscapes....depends on where you live, so don't stress out! Remember photography is an art. Think about the shot before you take it. Anyone can take a snap shot of a street sign. But an artist can make that sign come alive, convey a feeling or thought and make it look interesting. So try your hand at more than just a snapshot.

Use focus, depthof field and ISO to test the limits of not only your knowledge but your subjects image. This challenge you MAY edit freely without showing 'negative' unless asked (someone just may want to see how you achieved that amazing look).

So what is an Urbanscape? It's simply a 'landscape' style picture in the city rather than the country.

And what is a Streetscape? Same idea as above but not everyone lives in a big city. So a street will suffice.

Again- don't just snap pictures. CREATE a an idea, thought or feeling with your image. Post-editing can help setting a tone you are trying to convey. If you do not have editing software there are many free places on the web...like Picasa and Photobucket among others. You do NOT have to edit but you may find it will help you with your 'story'.

Happy Snapping!

***There are NO limits to the images you share in the Drop Off thread but make sure that they are among your very best and it mut be a completed photo- not half done and getting feedback- use the main thread for that ok?

****And absolutely no old photos. In order to participate in any of the photo challenges- all submissions must be taken specifically for the challenge. Otherwise we are not growing or learning! :D

Here are just a couple that I took today, they aren't the best that I can do but It is what I have come up with so far, I plan to keep going out and taking them, hopefully they will be much better than these:D

This one is at a local state park, I just laid down on the ground(the pavement, which was wet...lol) and snapped a sideways picture and I think I turned out good, but I did edit it, I just changed it to black and white, I just love the way it looks in black and white better, it's what I saw in my head when I saw it on my camera after I took it, I just thought how much better b&w would be.

You can see the road I'm laying on and the one across the patch of leaves with the tree.

And this one was driving through town, I just put it against the back window, I'm surprised how it turned out....lol I edited this one too because the other one just looked to plain to me...I just tinted it orange somewhat, to me it looks more natural(I just love the church in the background, always have...well ever since I moved here...lol)
