I wanna stock up on diapers before my baby gets here and was wondering approx how many size 1 diapers do babies usually go through? Is it like one box per months or more or less?

It really depends on the size of your baby.

If you buy too much you can always take them back, as long as they aren't open! Then you can get the next size up!

Really depends on the size of your baby. My daughter is 3 almost 3 months and will probably wear 1's for quite a while longer. You can figure 6-10 diapers a day.

Let's see my little one is 2 months now and 12lbs and is in size 1.....she goes through 10-12 diapers a day. Honestly I wold one stock up on a couple of big packs because you don't know when your baby will fit into and for how long. Plus the kind you get may give your child a rash or irritation. Each child is different.

It really does depend on your babies size. I only used 1 package of newborn with my son (born 9.5 lbs). I think I used 2 jumbo packages of size 2. And he went to 3 and 4 pretty fast. He's 9 months right now, 22 lbs and we've used 4 for a little over two months now. I know we used quite a few boxes of the 3 though. Instead of going by pounds, I just went by how they fit my son...if he started getting red marks or the diapers looked small, I went up a size. (and he's never leaked or anything) I've only used Huggies up until now, I like the marron package. I just tried Pampers and they are ok, going back to Huggies though.

I think pampers is a better secure fit.

just keep your receipts and take back anything you didnt open.

when jett was born i had zero newborn size diapers because i didnt think he would need them. well size 1 swallowed him whole until he was 2 weeks old. so i we left the hospital and went straight to walmart to buy some newborns lol. also to fill my prescription for pain meds hehe.

after that he stayed in size one until his 2 month appointment. so 6 weeks for ejtt in size 1. i know i never had to buy any size 1 diapers after he was born because i got one of each kind of diapers while i was still pregnant either from my shower or just i bought them on clearance somewhere and wanted to make sure i tried every kind there was. we got huggies, pampers, parents choice, and white cloud. and then an extra one of white cloud coz it was on sale for super super cheap. and those lasted the whole 6 weeks.

so yeah definetly more than one box.

My son was in NB at least 6 weeks. He HATES wet diapers... he will scream even with the littlest bit of pee until we change him. Unless he is asleep. So, I go through 12-15 a day.

He's also picky about his diapers. He likes Pampers the best bc the have the gelly inside, then Luvs, and Huggies. He won't use any cheapo brand diapers.

It is hard with diapers. I have bought about 8 packs of size one. I decided to go with Luvs. I used them with my daughet and liked them way more than Pampers or Huggies. I think I might get about 2 more packs of size one then move on to stocking up on size 2 and three. Just save your reciepts so that you can take back what you do not use or if you end up not liking what you did get and you want to switch brands.

Oh and one more thing to add...I always keep the next size up; that way I can compare and see if I need to get a bigger size the next time.
