I'm 36 weeks with my first and i'm having really sharp pains in my cervix...anyone know what this could be? I've been having them the last few weeks, but they've been sharper and more frequent the last few days. When ever I walk, sit, stand, squat, bend or she moves it freaking hurts! I have to lay on my side a lot so it will go away, but as soon as I sit up and the weight's back on my cervix it starts up again. My OB didn't check me for dilation last visit so I'm not sure if that could be it... I remember getting the same sharp pains there when I miscarried. Anyone else feeling this?
It's probably just baby moving/pushing/touching the cervix. I experience it too.
I started hving those pains after baby had dropped
Ive had these its is when your baby drops in the uk we call them "lightening pains" nothing to worry about but yeah they really do hurt!!
i have those right now,!! maybe your babydrop already thats why you can feel it down your cervix..
I was getting nervous that maybe she was going to come early. My mom isn't doing my shower until next sunday, i'll be 37 w 4 d and i'm on edge that she will debut before then. I want her to bake in thereat least until 38 weeks.
I asked my doc about these last week and she said the same as everyone else... positioning of the baby.
I know what you mean I cant even put my pants on by myself cuz the pain is so bad when I lift my legs.... Not to mention having to get up at least 6 times a night to pee is getting hard to do cuz it hurts so bad to get out of bed.
I was told it was my cervix thinning
I am 39 weeks and have been getting them for weeks now too. Its totally normal, the baby is hitting all kinds of nerves in there.
