I have a 6.5 month old and made the mistake of letting her try a drink of my icedtea. It was unsweetbut she really liked it. I was wonderng if I could give her some in her sippy cup. Maybe 2oz mixed with 2oz of water to dilute it?

I'd give it to her.

I let my baby have sips of unsweet tea occasionally. In his sippy though I give him a mix of 1 part apple juice, 1 part chamomile tea and 2 parts water. All organic. He loves it. :)

I wouldn't give her any tea with caffeine in it. Just like your not suppose to give kids coffee. I'm not sure about herbal tea. Ask your pedi.

It's probably not a good idea if it has caffeine in it. She's only 6 1/2 months old. They also can't have more than 1 oz. of water at a time at that age. I give my babies chammomile tea for gas, but only 1 oz in the bottle.
