Im about 9 weeks pregnant. For the last week and a half my throat has been swollen. I do not have tonsils, nor do I have any sinus congestion( though Im highly allergic to almost everything you can think of.)
I honestly dont know whats causing this as I have never had it before outside a nasty cold.
Is this common during pregnancy?
Is there something I can do to help ease the soreness?
My throat was so swollen when I got pregnant with my daughter I went in and had a strep test done
I dont know if it is common. but the week i found out i was pregnant I was at the doctor and they thought that I had mono. but the bloodwork came back negetive for mono, just had a sore throat, swollen glands and was really really tired. They just attributed the symtoms to being pregnant. ((I was around 4 weeks))
Oh so just another joyous side affect to pregnancy... Yeah:roll: Thanks Ladies. :)
Do note also that during pregnancy your allergies may increase, decrease, or even differ (as in, you may be allergic to things you weren't before). So it could be allergies or just a small cold. My throat is sore too and I'm almost 19 weeks. It uber sucks >_<
Gargle warm salt water. It ALWAYS helps for me
Hey, I remember doing that in Elementary school.... Thanks for the reminder. Ill try and see if it works...
BTW, The other day when I went to the dr's I saw a lady with crzy/beautiful tattooed across her back... is there something significant to that?
I was going to go up and say hi(thought maybe you, but then I remembered your pics didnt look samoan.(sp)
