I keep feeling that sharp, shooting vagina pain. I only felt it occassionally before, but now I feel it everyday, randomly. I am wondering if my baby is already head down and his head is pressing up against my cervix or something? I also feel his flutters up high above my belly button, although I feel them on my side and under my belly button sometimes too. Could my baby be head down already or could it be him just flipping a lot and changing positions? And why am I feeling those sharp pains so much now? I'm 23 weeks tomorrow. Thanks =)
i'm 32 weeks and my son is head down now.
at my last ultrasound i was 28 wks and he wasnt then.
i think its different for alot of people though
It's normal to get sharp pains like that. My baby's head never turned down. Talk about back labor.
i think thats a bit early.....mine was head down at my 33week apt.
Mine never did :( He was breech.
But you're fine for now. Don't start worrying until 35-37 weeks. Babies can turn anytime til then.
I think at that point the baby is still tossing and flipping around.
I believe its around 30-35wks when he turns head down. I had an ultrasound done at 31wks and he was head down. The tech said he probably wouldnt flip back since he's starting to run out of room..
I felt those around that time for awhile as well...your baby is probably flipping all over the place right now cause it has a ton of room and sometimes using your cervix as a jumping off point...it slowed down for me until just this week and I am 34 weeks.
I keep getting those sharp stabbing shooting pains in my cervix or vagina, could it be him tossing around and hitting it?
Quoting MiSs gayLe MaRiE:
My daughter was around 26 or 27 weeks. I went to L&D & they said that she was & she has been ever since.
Eden flipped over at about 29 weeks. I know exactly when she did it too.
3:30 in the morning.. woke up and my WHOLE BELLY was moving side to side. it was hilarious
Sometimes they never do. My son was head down the entire pregnancy but he was never engaged. When they enduced me he wasn't even at a station. It really depends.
